SMA OPPS Calculator

SMA Informatics provides a National Outpatient Hospitla Services Payment Calculator (OPPS) as a service for our clients.

The SMA OPPS calculator which permits the User to calculate expected Medicare payment for any of the 800 APC's for any of the more than 3600 hospitals in the US.

Additionally, we have provided PDF formatted files which expand on three elements used with the calculator:

1. Complete list of APC codes and descriptions for payment
2. Complete list of APC basic payment rate for CY2008
3. Directory of hospitals with medical provider number
4. Table of wage index
