SMA IPPS Calculator

SMA Informatics provides a National Hospitla Acute Inpatient Payment Calculator (IPPS) as a service for our clients.

The SMA IPPS calculator which permits the User to calculate expected Medicare payment for any of the 746 MS DRG for any of the more than 3600 hospitals in the US.

Additionally, we have provided PDF formatted files which expand on three elements used with the calculator:

1. Complete list of MS DRG code and description for payment
2. Directory of hospitals with medical provider number
3. Table of wage index
