SMA Informatics Announces Launch of ICD-10 Payment Impact Analysis
The October 1, 2013 deadline for migration to ICD-10 coding for all HIPAA-regulated transactions is less than 18 months away. SMA Informatics has developed an ICD-9 to ICD-10 Comparative Payment Impact Analysis tool set. The tool generates standard and custom reports that include executive level oversight, comparative analysis of product lines, and special client request studies.

Clients are able to access this service on-demand. Health systems can assess their corporate product line strategies at the level of MS-DRG's impacts.
